The main goal of GRBIO is to promote joint research in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, either in advanced applications and in the theoretical and computational development of new methodologies.
The aim is to address complex interdisciplinary issues and to make relevant scientific contributions on health and biology areas where closer collaboration is needed to promote future development and welfare of the society.
The members of the team have diverse research backgrounds, which can be broadly grouped into three areas: Clinical Trials and Survival Analysis, Biostatistical Methods for integrative analysis of omics data and Development of statistical tools.
