The European Medicines Agency has released for public consultation following guidance document:

Draft ICH E9 (R1) addendum on estimands and sensitivity analysis in clinical trials to the guideline on statistical principles for clinical trials, step 2b – Revision 1

The E9(R1) addendum aims to clarify and extend ICH E9 by elaborating on the choice of estimand and sensitivity analysis in clinical trials, providing a framework to align its planning, design, conduct, analysis and interpretation. Having clarity in the trial objectives and accounting explicitly for intercurrent events when describing the treatment effect of interest at the planning stage of a clinical trial are crucial for a clear description of the effects of a medicine.  Sigue leyendo

III Jornadas Científicas de Estudiantes de la SEB

Nos complace invitarle a las III Jornadas Científicas de Estudiantes de la Sociedad Española de Biometría que tendrán lugar en Bilbao, en el Basque Center for Applied Mathematics, los días 18 y 19 de enero de 2018.

El evento ofrecerá la oportunidad a nuestros socios estudiantes y más jóvenes de atender y participar en un congreso científico muy prometedor, teniendo el cuenta los precedentes de estas Jornadas que se celebraron en Valencia en enero de 2015 y en Barcelona en septiembre de 2016.

Los organizadores y la Junta Directiva de la SEB tratarán de conseguir que las Jornadas resulten as low-cost as possible. Podemos adelantar que la inscripción será gratuita y que se impartirá un curso de corta duración gratuito.
