The Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (SPH) seeks outstanding candidates for one tenure-track position at the assistant or associate professor level in the area of statistical and computational science for big data in health science. 

For this position, we seek candidates with a strong background in biostatistics, data science, computer science, or related fields, with the potential to become leaders in the development and application of statistical and computational methods for big data in health science. We seek candidates who are enthusiastic for teaching, training, and mentorship through the graduate program. Responsibilities will include methodological and collaborative research, teaching, and supervision of graduate students.

Candidates are required to have a doctorate or terminal degree in biostatistics, statistics, computer science, machine learning, or allied fields by the time the appointment begins.

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer of Health Data Science Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health

The Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (SPH) seeks outstanding candidates for a non-tenure-track lecturer or senior lecturer position in big data.

We seek candidates who are leading applied statistical and computational scientists in big data in health science. The lecturer/senior lecturer will play a leadership role in the new Master of Science program in health data science, and will help advance training and collaborative research in big health data. Candidates should have demonstrated skill and background in computing, machine learning, and statistical analysis of big data, preferably with applications in health science research, as well as enthusiasm for teaching, training, and mentorship through the graduate program.
