We are glad to announce the 11th International Workshop on

BAYESIAN INFERENCE IN STOCHASTIC PROCESSES (BISP11)  which will take place at ROYAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, MADRID, SPAIN, ON JUNE 12-14, 2019.

The conference webpage is

https://www.methaodos.org/congresos-methaodos/index.php/bisp11/bisp11

The scientific program of BISP11 will feature invited and contributed sessions (from June 12th, morning, to June 14th, lunch time) and a poster session on June 12th, late afternoon. Instructions on how to submit abstracts can be found at the page on «Program and submission».

A city tour and a social dinner are also planned on June 13th.

Invited speakers include, so far, Antonietta Mira, Alexandra Schmidt, Robert Gramacy, Raffaele Argiento, Tamara Broderick, Rajarshi Guhaniyogi, Zhenyu Zhang, Hoang Nguyen, Tom Ryder, Roi Naveiro, Jorge Gonzalez Ortega.
It is the «usual» combination of established and promising young researchers.

Theoretical and applied contributions on Bayesian inference in stochastic processes are both welcome. A non-exhaustive list of topics includes Markov  processes, temporal and spatial processes, empirical processes, birth-death  and branching processes, queueing, computations and methods for complex  structures, networks and relational data, signal processes, stochastic differential equations.

BISP11 is endorsed by ISBA (International Society for Bayesian Analysis) and sponsored by ICMAT-CSIC, Real Academia de Ciencias and AXA Research Fund through the AXA-ICMAT Chair.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

– 15/2/2019: Abstract submission (for oral or poster presentation)

– 01/3/2019: Decision on acceptance

– 30/4/2019: Early registration (compulsory for presenters)

We look forward to welcoming you at BISP11 in Madrid in June!
