Salary Grade 6 – £26,274 to £30,434 per annum
Salary Grade 7 – £32,277 to £37,394 per annum
Fixed term contract for up to 18 months

Applications are invited for a Research Assistant/Associate in Medical Statistics post to support a methodology research project “Bayesian multivariate evidence synthesis methods to incorporate surrogate endpoints in health care evaluation” funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC).
The post will involve applied and methodological research of multivariate meta-analysis methods with particular focus on Bayesian framework in the context of health technology assessment.
You will have a MSc (or relevant degree and research experience) in medical statistics, statistics, mathematics, heath economics or related discipline; high-level expertise in medical statistics, Bayesian analysis and meta-analysis.
At Research Associate level you will have a PhD (or relevant MSc and equivalent extensive research experience) in medical statistics, statistics, mathematics, heath economics or related discipline and be able to provide evidence of research productivity (including high-quality research publications, presentations).
