Permanent lecturer positions (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Statistical Science, University College London – several positions available

Hours: Full Time (Job share considered)
Salary (inclusive of London allowance): £44,674 – £52,701 per annum plus a market supplement of £7,000 per annum
Duties and Responsibilities: to conduct original research and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Statistical Science. Research may be in any branch(es) of statistics or applied probability, although applicants with expertise in statistical data science or in finance / econometrics will be especially welcome.
Key Requirements: candidates should hold a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in statistics or a closely related field.  It is essential that the successful candidates have a proven record of ability to carry out high quality research in a branch of probability or statistics, including publications in highly regarded peer-reviewed journals; the ability to construct and deliver lecture courses on topics relevant to the needs of the department; and excellent communication skills.
