Hi all,

The Biostatistics Research Group in Newcastle University (www.newcastle-biostatistics.com) mixes statistical methodology development with application of high-quality biostatistics methods in medical research projects. We have strengths in methods for efficient clinical trial design and analysis and work closely with Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit to support the delivery of innovative clinical trials.

We now have two new academic positions available to contribute to the research, teaching and leadership of the group. These posts would suit people who are interested in leading statistical collaboration on medical research studies. Our group is looking to continue its expansion in methodological research and pre-clinical studies: candidates who are interested in one or other of these would be particularly encouraged.
