St. George’s, University of London has created 4 non-clinical lecturer posts as part of a new strategic drive to build on our research strengths, including a Lecturer position in Medical Statistics as part of the development of Medical Statistics as a cross-cutting theme in the University.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their outstanding potential by evidence of a key role in high quality research (methodological or applied) and an ability to plan and conceive an original and competitive research program.  They will be expected to develop their research through a combination of research grant awards which may include personal research fellowships, publication of peer-reviewed papers, postgraduate research student supervision and intellectual property development.  The post comes with a generous start-up package.

In addition, the post holder will be expected to contribute to the teaching activity of the University, which includes a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.  We are seeking candidates who intend to become future research leaders, and who can also apply their expertise to galvanize students through inspiring teaching.
