Post 1: Newcastle University Research Fellowship in Biostatistics
Salary: £39,992 – £47,722 per annum

Up to five years fixed term, with progression to open-ended senior academic position
This post is aimed at an ambitious person who has been successful at a postdoctoral position and has their own research ideas that they’d like to develop. Candidates with an interest in methodology for better design and analysis of clinical trials are especially encouraged, but other areas of biostatistics are welcome. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Biostatistics Research Group and Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit to implement your methodology in practice.
The start date for this position is flexible (ideally by late 2018)
Post 2: Research Associate in Biostatistics
Salary: £29,799 – £38,833 per annum
Closing Date: 8 July 2018
Three years fixed term
This is a postdoctoral position to work with me on statistical methods for efficient design and analysis of clinical trials. As above, there are several novel trials we’re involved with that will motivate and apply methods you develop!
Start date is flexible, but ideally by Autumn 2018.
