Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT)-Chinese Academy of Sciences was jointly established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and the Shenzhen Municipal Government in 2006. Over the past 10 years, SIAT has developed 6 high-level interdisciplinary institutes with over 1200 staffs. More than 400 SIAT’ers hold a doctoral degree and 70% of them have oversea study or work experience. Center for Biomedical Information Technology (BIT) focuses on the scientific research on health care research, medical statistics, clinical data research, health informatics, biomedical research. The center was awarded the National healthcare big data research center in 2017. We have several PIs, all with international experience. Teams are focusing on epidemiology research, disease diagnosis and prevention, precision medicine, public health etc., to establish a multi-level personalized health care system aiming to help individuals and communities. – PhD degree
– Publication in SCI journals
– Strong programming background(R, Python, Matlab, Linux etc.)
– Background & Experience:
Research experience in biomedical data analysis, genomics, clinical data analysis, electronic medical records, epidemiology
– Statistics & Machine Learning:
Background in mathematics and statistics, strong mathematical logic, experience in data mining and programming, candidates with experience in deep learning is preferred
