Less than 6 months from now we will have the pleasure to host you in St Andrews- the 6th International Statistical Ecology Conference is taking place on the 2nd to 6th July !

We would like to call your attention to the
deadline for early registration – the end of March. Also, registration for our pre-conference workshops is proceeding rapidly and some are nearly full.  So if you’ve not yet registered, the next couple of days are a good time to do so =]

We would also like to call your attention to 2 other events of interest hosted by The British Ecological Society. The
Quantitative Ecology Group is holding its one-day conference and annual meeting on the 9th July; they are currently accepting submissions for 5 minute lightning talks and posters on any topic in quantitative ecology – find out more here! And because conferences are also about having some fun, the Movement Ecology Group is hosting a social evening on the 3rd July. Get in touch with Theoni Photopoulou  or Marie Auger-Méthé to find out more about this fabulous evening of short talks, by both well-experienced and upcoming movement modellers, accompanied by drinks and snacks kindly provided by the British Ecological Society and the journal Methods in Ecology and Evolution.

Lastly, we are sad to report that one of our plenary speakers, Dr Tara Martin, is unable to attend.  We are searching for another plenary speaker.

Watch the conference
website for developments; also Facebook and Twitter (@ISECStatEcol)!! We look forward to having you with us in Scotland for these astonishing events! The local organising committee of ISEC 2018.
