CALL for Pre-Doctoral Contract, PhD Position – Research Project (4 years)

GRANT: Optimum Design of Experiments Applied to Health and Safety Research, funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (SPAIN).

SUMMARY: The Optimum Experimental Design group, OED (http://areaestadistica.uclm.es/oed/) is a consolidated research group formed by researchers from several Spanish and foreign universities.
Design of experiments (DOE) is a part of statistics that provides tools for efficient experimentation. It searches for experimental conditions in order to increase the accuracy of the estimation of the parameters in regression models.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: A degree enough for doing a PhD in Spain. Preference on Mathematics, Statistics or any other with strong Mathematical basis. Candidates should be interested in developing a professional research career.

AIM: Development of a PhD within the scope of the project.

CONTACT: Interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae to secretaria.estadistica@gmail.com and can ask for more information at fidalgo@unav.es (J. López-Fidalgo) or L.RodriguezAragon@uclm.es (L.J. Rodríguez-Aragón).
